While inquiring for our rates for DAY charters:
Half day / Full day, Sunset / Full Moon, please include :
number of participants (we do make discounts for charters for two),
preferred day and time of the charter (sunset charters are cheaper and departure time depends on season)
Duration of charter preferred
catering on board available - check our charters with meals included
we provide soft drinks for charters 4 hrs and longer (or otherwise specified)

In regards to MULTI-DAY charters please request CHARTER REQUEST FORM and CHARTER AGREEMENT.
Reservation shall be made in advance with a deposit of half.
Full payment is due :
- CASH on the day of the charter (for day time charters) - paid cash to captain before boarding
- at least 3 days before (for 2-3 day charters)
- at least 7 days before the charter (weekly charter)
- at least 30 days before long term charter (USVI )
The payments shall be done via our website - Charter RESERVATION deposit
We recommend making the reservation in advance to reserve the best dates. However do not hesitate to call us if you decide on "last minute" vacations. For multi day charters pls e-mail us for CHARTER REQUEST FORM and CHARTER AGREEMENT.
We do not charge our clients if something breaks on the boat during sailing unless the damage is made by negligence.
The half deposit (reservation) is non refundable, unless we reschedule the charter date (15% rescheduling fee). If the charter shall be rescheduled due to severe weather conditions, we do not charge any fee for rescheduling
Trip Insurance:
The yacht is fully insured against damage and liability. The insurance
may not cover your personal property and may exclude certain
liabilities. You may elect to obtain additional liability or umbrella
insurance on your own.
Cancellation Policy:
Miami Sailing will not offer refunds for charters cancelled (charter can be rescheduled upon availability) or shortened due to adverse weather (prorated refund may apply), acts of God, or events not within the reasonable control of Miami Sailing. Cancellations received less than 90 days prior to your charter date are subject to forfeiture of all paid fees, except for extremely inclimate weather or for some reason the yacht cannot do the charter. We strongly suggest that you obtain travel insurance for your vacation, especially during hurricane season. More in Charter Agreement (accepted upon booking)
WEATHER - Do not be discouraged by clouds or showers. In Miami you can experience all kind of weather in a short time period. It can shower for 10 minutes (you can hide in a saloon of the boat) and then you have sun for the rest of the day. And remember, it is never cold here so a few drops of water is fun. Also showers are very local, which means that it can rain in Coconut Grove but no drop falls in Biscayne Bay, etc. Always call us and we will give you an update regarding weather and definitely will tell you if it is just temporary or for the whole day.
