This introductory offer is for couples on a budget who cannot afford a private charter, and do not mind sharing the trip with another couple. The charter takes place on a forty-two feet center cockpit sailing yacht Lancer docked in South Beach Miami.
Please consider semi-private cruise only if you are committed and serious in participating. It takes a lot from us to coordinate all parties together.
We only do a half day semi-private sails as long as min. one couple books a a private charter with an open option for another couple to join. It is the only way we can guarantee the booking on particular day.
We do not intend to be a loud buzz party sail boat (totally opposite indeed), we will be sailing with open sails.
We will try to match you with couples of similar age/interest - so the sailing experience could be as close to a private charter as possible. We do not bring random guests aboard. We would like this trip to be fully enjoyable for all participants therefore, we expect from all respect and courtesy towards the others participating in the sailing excursion.
If you want to be sure of participation - pls book a private charter with an open option for semi-private (you may book a private sail and ask us to find another couple willing to share, however if we can't find, you are scheduled for a private sail)
Dinner charters are private charters only.

1/2 day (4 hr) semi-private charter on a comfortable 42 foot sailing yacht (Lancer pictures) on Biscayne Bay from Downtown Miami
1/2 DAY rate: $300 per couple (2 couples) - most probable scenario
( 3 couples sharing $225/ per couple, single person $150-200 )

- ANY DAY of the week is available - pls give us range of days/time you are available for semi-private charter
- private charters have priority booking over shared cruises, unless 2 couples are confirmed for the charter (confirmed = charter paid in full = all parties committed = no reschedules, no changes of mind)
- major holidays may be excluded from this offer (private charters only), eg New Years Eve, V-day)
ITINERARY:
Sea Isle Marina - DOWNTOWN MIAMI - BISCAYNE BAY - back to marina
HALF DAY - Departing from the north part of Downtown Miami (NE 15th str/Bayshore Dr) offers unique opportunity of sightseeing whole Downtown Miami from the water, including American Airlines Arena (Miami Heat home), Cruiseship Port, Bayside Marketplace, Bayfront Park, Port of Miami, Fisher Island, mouth of Miami River, waterfront luxury condos, Brickell Key, Virginia Key. We pretty much start sailing (all depends on wind direction) after draw bridge opening, following Downtown shoreline into Biscayne Bay. During the charter you can enjoy the views of the bay, Key Biscayne, Coconut Grove, Vizcaya, Miami Cityline. Possible swim stop by sandbar or secluded Virginia Key. There is a chance of spotting South FLorida marine life, including playful dolphins, jumping manta rays, laid back pelicans, and more. It is a relaxing day under sail, so you can enjoy the peacifull time under sail in one of the most beautiful sailing destinations in North America. Semi-tropical climate of South Florida allows year around sailing with avarage summer temperature of 85F and 75F in winter.
Our FULL DAY shared charter, additionally includes sailing by Stiltsville (possible snorkel stop by one of the houses on stilts), towards open waters of Atlantic, Cape Florida historical lightouse, Bill Baggs State Park (time to go ashore for a little stroll), swim stop by sandbar or mini beach (we provide, tandem kayak, two floating chairs, and paddle board - 3 couples min.), seeing waterfront mansions of Key Biscayne and smooth sail back to Downtown Miami with the best views from the water by night.
HOW THE RESERVATION PROCESS WORKS (applies to shared charters only) - pls read
The charter takes place with minimum 4 participants (or 2 couples). If we cannot match 2 couples for the charter, the charter is not scheduled (unless you want to switch to a private charter rate). In such a case, the amounts (if charged) are refunded.
Signing up for the shared charter means, you choose your day/time and commit to participating in the charter if the group of 2-3 couples is found by Thursday night (or the day before). We will work hard to match other couples to share the trip, therefore we only ask to sign up if you are serious and committed. Pls do not sign up for charter with 'maybe / not serious' attitude. It takes a huge effort from our side to try to match two parties for the same trip. Otherwise join a party boat in Bayside Marketplace, where you share a boat ride with a loud crowd of over 100 ppl aboard and buy a ticket.
Signing up requires submitting RESERVATION FORM authorizing us charging the full amount upon confirming the scheduled charter. The full amounts will be charged on Thursday night after confirming that charter is schedulled (min 2 couples participate in the charter)
The reservation (after confirming the group) is final. No cancellations / no reschedules. No show up - no refunds.
The final confirmation of the schedulled charter is by Thursday 6 pm (for weekend charters)

WHAT IS not INCLUDED
Food and alcoholic beverages - you are welcome to bring aboard a small cooler and snacks (ready - to -eat) and enjoy it aboard
No loud music not excessive drinking allowed on the boat
Rate is exclusive of 7% tax and crew gratuity
This offer is not available for dinner cruise nor cooking aboard

DECK ACCOMMODATION - follow the links
The semi-private charters are possible due to a comfortable deck layout of the Lancer. Each couple can feel pretty much private in part of the boat they choose (we hope couples would change spots during the charter, so each couple can enjoy all the areas of the sailboat) eg, center cockpit (comfortable fits 2 couples), wide bow (1 couple), foredeck (2 couples), aft deck with aft seats (1 couple) - link to pictures.
The yachts has fully equipped galley, salon area, head (= toilet and bathroom). Comfortable swim platform enables easy access to water.
OTHER COMMENTS
The shared trip is intended for adults only. No pets.
Individuals can also sign up: half day from $150
Pls be social. The charter is intended to be in a friedly atmosphere, like a family or friends getaway.
